School Hours

8.50am – 3.00pm   Lunch: 12.35pm – 1.30pm

It is important that children develop punctual habits and arrive at school on time. At 8.55am classes start.

Supervision is provided from 8.30am onwards when children are permitted to enter the school buildings.

Attendance

Regular attendance of pupils is required by law. If you child is going to be absent, please email or phone the school office by 9.00am. Daily checks are made on all class attendance registers. Late attendance must be communicated through the school office.

Emergency Contact Numbers

Please ensure that the school is provided with up-to-date home, work and mobile  numbers in case of an emergency. An alternative contact, if you are unavailable, is also desirable along with their phone numbers.

School Fees (Attendance Dues)

A term fee is requested by the Archdiocese of Wellington. The Attendance Dues go directly to the Archdiocese for the management of Catholic schools throughout New Zealand. Attendance Dues are $485.00per child for the 2018 school year. If parents anticipate there will be financial difficulty in the paying of Attendance Dues please make an appointment to speak to the Principal who will assist you.

Contributions are invoiced annually but can be paid termly. The Contribution covers the cost of swimming tuition, trips out of the school (buses, trains etc), visiting shows to the school, educational workshops hosted by St Pius X School and the Religious Education classroom programme.

The Family Donation is a donation to school running costs and covers things like photocopying etc.

This is payable to the school office.

Contribution $100 per year for one child / $200 for 2 children

Family Donation $30 per year for one child / $40 for 2 children

Money and Valuables
